For Fiona Cooper real estate is about more than just the sale. It’s about the price achieved, the time frame, the cost to clients, and most importantly, the relationship between all parties throughout the process.
Fiona believes in the absolute value of Customer Service and this is evident with the repeat business she has built up during her ten years in the business.
Her professional approach, her ability to listen carefully to peoples’ needs and wants, and her commitment to meet many different client real estate requirements, have all attributed to her success in the industry.
Fiona believes success in this business comes through good communication – listening to and understanding her clients’ desires to achieve their sale, their dream, their goal. Then tailoring this to present each home at its best – recognising that every property offers a unique opportunity to a buyer and a seller.
She has studied interior design, spacial design, and has a knowledge of landscaping. This, along with her own simple interior staging (complimentary to her clients) ensures every property goes on the market looking its absolute best.
Fiona’s long-term desire to return to Central Otago, an area that holds much family heritage and history, has been realised with her recently settling in Clyde.
On her mother’s side, the first of the Scott family came to Kawarau Station, Bannockburn in 1860. Her grandparents were born in Gibbston and her mother and uncle were born in Cromwell. Both attended Gibbston School, before finishing their schooling in Dunedin while the family was living at Mount Rosa, Gibbston (owned by her grandfather Ray Scott). Fiona’s father taught at Gibbston School in the 1950’s. The Millers, her Irish relatives lived on the Crown Range.
Today Fiona’s mother lives in a Tauranga Rest Home and is delighted that Fiona is ‘walking in her footsteps’.
